Oi you Greedy Cow!

If you're looking for a bite in Mile End, Greedy Cow is definitely the place to go.
I've been here around three times already and have never had a bad experience...yet.
It's cosy, small and just in front off Mile End Station next to a small, sad looking Subway.

Prices are reasonable with burgers starting from £6.95. I suggest sharing a portion of two sides between two people because the sizes are really really big. I mean come on, the onion rings look like they're on steroids (they were lovely).

My friend ordered the Italian which consisted of a beef patty, mozarella and parma ham (£8.65) and I ordered the Jamaican which consisted of homemade jerk sauce, a rosti and mango chutney (£8.65) with a side of chips (£3.00) and the biggest onion rings I've ever seen (£3.25).

The food was well presented and service was fast. My only problem was actually eating my burger because it's just a nightmare to hold. Also the jerk sauce on my burger made my burger bun incredibly soggy so I had to use the knife and fork. Other than that, another delightful visit to the Greedy Cow!

They also do "exotic" burgers which consists of Camel, Wagyu , Kangaroo and Wild Boar meat. Another thing to die for in this restaurant is their desserts, that is if you can make it through the mains which also includes really damn good steaks.

Thanks for stopping by!

Pinkberry Catch Up!

Hey guys! Erin here and I know it's been a while since we've made a post and if we're being honest, it's because it has been a while since Melissa and I have seen each other. We've been so busy with school and Uni applications and deadlines and so on so it was time for us to have a catch up.
We haven't seen many of our close friends due to how busy we have been so when while I was out with a friend, we decided to head to Pinkberry to have a catch up so Melissa and I also decided to do the same.

I love going to Pinkberry for a catch up because of how simple it is and just the fact that you can personalise your frozen yogurt to you. I always get chocolate (left) as I am quite the chocoholic. I also got brownies, strawberries, nuts and white chocolate flakes.

Melissa (right) got the salted caramel fro-yo (it sounds so American!) with oreos, macadamia nuts and chocolate mix, strawberries, mangos and cornflakes. I tried a bit of hers and I have to say the salted caramel was quite nice, it didn't taste as off putting as the name is, (I mean, come on, it is a bit off putting hearing salt and caramel together). The main lesson I learned from this is don't judge a book by it's cover (it is a cliché but still quite true).

The one downside with Pinkberry is how expensive  it is, for a small with toppings its £3.90. It's quite pricey but when you get a good bit of gossip off of your friend, it's worth it in the end. And, if I'm being honest, it is quite rich so a small is enough I think, especially if you're like Melissa, a person who struggles to finish their food on their own. :)

That's all from us for now :) We'll be back soon hopefully with another restaurant post. We do have alot planned. Thanks for stopping by!
